Here’s one Mum’s explanation of what it takes to keep this shabby chic furniture, with its freshly washed and bleached slipcovers, spotless:

I wash the bottom cushions about once every two weeks, and the whole slipcover about every six weeks. the denim really comes clean….I have three kids too, and a golden retriever…
The covers are white denim so really hard wearing. She even made them herself so they didn’t cost much either. Of course you have to have the sewing skills ……. and a good washing machine!

Omg! I love this sofa! I really am looking for a sofa for my daughters apartment! She hardly has any furniture and she is moving up there in a month! Is she selling this sofa? If she is, what is the price?

Aw thank you so much! Sorry for the late reply but I did find one that looked exactly like this one for 350 on craig’s list that was like 1,000 if you were to go buy it in a regular store! It was used and we went to go pick it up in galveston but it was sooooooooo worth it! I LOVE it! If you look on craigs list you can find all kinds of stuff! They have daily listings of everything you can imagine but for way cheaper than the original price! Hope this helps! Do they sell anything on this website or is it just for fun?

So glad you found something Sherri! I don’t really sell furniture on here, it’s mostly just for fun. You can buy books about Shabby Chic furniture from my bookstore but I mostly do it cause I love the furniture. The blog is kind of like an online scrap book of my favourite bits
