Shabby Chic Furniture

If you are wandering north Paris, in search of shabby chic furniture, and you stray into the side streets near Rue LaFayette you might just find this gem. Tucked away in a little back street was this magical shop, a shabby chic fanatic’s fantasy come true. There were dozens of chair frames stacked almost to the ceiling. Each as delightfully ‘ancien’ as this one, each waiting to be re-furbished and re-covered in the fabric of your choice.I heaved a great sigh as I realised I’d never fit one on the Eurostar and reluctantly walked on, my desire for beautiful French shabby chic furniture will have to wait!
